Piedmont Center for the Arts 801 Magnolia Ave, Piedmont, CA 94611

Join Dianne Nicolini, the voice of Classical California, for an afternoon of her favorite French music. This concert begins with Debussy's depiction of the "joyful isle" of Aphrodite's birth, then leads listeners through the contemplative reverence of Massenet's famous "Meditation," the bittersweet grace of Poulenc's lyrical flute sonata, and the beauty of a spring morning imagined by Lili Boulanger in the last few months of her life. We conclude with Ravel's textural A-minor Piano Trio.

We hope you'll join us to enjoy the beauty and richness that the French classical tradition has to offer.
