Let Poulet cater your next party or event
Poulet has been serving fresh, healthy food in Berkeley’s Dining Gourmet Ghetto since 1979. Eat-in or take-out a wide selection of chicken, salads, soups, sandwiches and much more! We have always had a simple philosophy, food is very basic, let’s enjoy it.
Poulet was co-founded in 1979 by Marilyn Rinzler and Bruce Aidells. Inspired by Marilyn who was a single parent of two, Poulet began as take-out only, designed for people who didn’t have the time to cook and wanted to take home fresh, healthy, gourmet food. We have always had a simple philosophy, food is very basic, let’s enjoy it. For nearly 40 years Poulet has remained true to this philosophy which may be why people have been coming back for all these years. The food world may have changed since 1979, but Poulet’s founding ideas have never gone out of fashion.
