Students @ the Symphony

Part of Berkeley Symphony’s music education outreach effort, providing free admission for students and discounted tickets for parents to selected concerts.

On January 25 at 7:15 pm, attend a free, open Berkeley Symphony rehearsal and hear the orchestra run through Henri Dutilleux’s The Shadows of Time, featuring members of the Pacific Boychoir Academy, for their upcoming Zellerbach Hall concert. Join Music Education Director Ming Luke at a special post-rehearsal reception for a casual discussion about the music, rehearsal process, and other amazing aspects of professional symphony life! Finally, enjoy the final live performance on January 26!

Students can attend the Thursday evening concert free of charge, adult tickets are $10 each. To reserve your tickets, call (510) 841-2800 and mention Students @ the Symphony, or visit tickets.berkeleysymphony.org and enter promo code: S@S at checkout (valid only for the January 26 concert).

The January 25 event will last approximately 75 minutes. The Zellerbach Hall concerts are 2 hours with intermission.
