Berkeley Symphony’s “Meet the Symphony” family concert gives families a chance to experience a full orchestra right in the school’s auditorium. This fifty minute special concert will explore all different sounds and instruments that come from the Percussion Family! From gongs to snare drums, triangles to tambourines, the Percussion Family of the orchestra encompasses dozens of different types of instruments. We will be playing many different orchestral excerpts with exciting and fun percussion—and may even need your help to play some of these instruments!

Frequently Asked Questions
"What's the dress code?"
Casual!

"What if we have toddlers or infants?"
These concerts are great for all ages - even infants! For a little extra moving room, there are areas of walking space behind the seating area. Exits are conveniently located in case you need to step out and you will be allowed back in any time during concerts.

"Can we bring our strollers inside?"
Absolutely! There is plenty of space to park strollers in the back or (depending on their height and availability of space) next to your chair.

"Will we be locked out if we're late?"
No, doors remain unlocked and available.
