The second season of the Berkeley Symphony & Friends Chamber Music Series begins on Sunday, September 21 and features three of the Bay Area’s most revered and acclaimed artists – Stuart Canin, violin; Peter Wyrick, cello and Sarah Cahill, piano. Ms. Cahill will open the concert performing Pièces de clavecin by François Couperin and Thomas Adès’ Concert Paraphrase on “Powder Her Face” for solo piano. The program continues with Beethoven’s Sonata #5 in F major, “Spring” for piano and violin. After intermission, the trio will perform Schubert’s beautiful Trio #1 in B-flat major.
